Seichem

Seichem is an energy modality developed from Reiki by Patrick Ziegler, who spent some years in the Middle East while serving with the Peace Corps.

Patrick now places great emphasis upon an experience he may have had in the Great Pyramid. However, my feeling is that the empowerment he mentions Osman Brahani, a Sufi Master living in Khartoum (Sudan), having given him is far more likely to be where the Seichem came from. The infinity symbol, which Patrick originally added to the Reiki attunement process, is also a common feature of Sufi tradition.

When Patrick discovered Reiki upon his return to the States, he added the infinity symbol to the Reiki attunement process he learned from Barbara Weber Ray, thereby attempting to merge the two enabling him to pass on the empowerment he had gained from the Sufis. Patrick gave T'om Seaman the new attunement and then went off back to the Middle East again, only returning several years later, by which time "Rebel Reiki" or Seichim, as he called it then, had grown a great deal. Since then it has become known by many names - Seichem, Seichim, Sekhem, among others. Patrick now teaches a non-initiatory version he calls SKHM. On this website you will find a page on which Patrick tells the story of his journey and his feeling about the subsequent growth of Seichem in his own words.

Kathleen Milner took Seichim and developed it into her own version which she called Tera Mai.  The Sekhem version developed from Seichim in Australia initially, but has since spread world wide.

Seichem is, like Reiki, transferred by initiation during a class.  My classes are great fun with a lot of laughter.

If you would like to try Seichem for yourself, contact me for a treatment - or if you would like to learn it, contact me for details of my next class.
